The third batch of pictures taken from the 2009 Mrs. Philippines pageant. These photos came from my friend, Mr. Arman Barbuco who is a more talented photographer than I am and has a much better vantage point during the said event.

Hello Barbara,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I have several photos of Erik Santos taken during the pageant. I’ll post some of them here

I think Contestant # 12 deserved to win both the “Best in Swimsuit”, and “Best in Long Gown” awards. She looked very beautiful in her evening gowns during the pre-pageant and the finals night. In my opinion, she deserved a higher placement than what she actually won – Mrs. Philippines – Asia. Anyway, congratulations to her!

Thank you very much, Hugh.
Well, Beck and I have been receiving a lot of comments regarding the outcome of the said pageant and most of them have the same opinions and sentiments like you. Well, there has been a lot of controversies about the said pageant (try checking this site: http://opmbworldwide.com/?p=583).
But I would just like to share a comment by a close friend. She said that to look at it this way: It is not Beck’s loss or any of the non-winning contestant’s loss. The winners who some of the audience think doesn’t deserve to win are the ones who will represent the country. So it is the Philippines who is at the losing end.
