I thought your favorite sport is Pentak Silat?
January 10, 2008 at 4:15 pm |
He he he. I know what you mean. We used to make jokes about the practice of pencak silat doing some dance when one of the players have made a score.

Hi Bro,
Wow! There are so much things that I don’t know yet about you. Thanks for sharing yourself, your true self…
We both have talents in writing and drawing or painting. Thanks to our mom! I guess it’s genetics…hehehe…Although, I really don’t have the chance to develop these gifts because I have focused on continuing professional education. We have to innovate or we stagnate.
In closing, don’t forget to put balance in the four aspects of your life namely spiritual, mental, physical and social.
Cheers,
Ate Cecile

Hello Ate,
Thanks for visiting my blog.
I’m not good in drawing, kaya I adopted the post-impressionism style of painting wherein the emphasis is on colors rather than form.
The reason why I was able to develop my “gifts” is because you were there to support me.
Thanks, for everything. And sorry if I wasn’t able to call you before you left Manila.

Greetings!
I was just wondering if you have some spare fairtex muay thai shorts which you can sell …
I like muay thai too and I train under Kru Danny Montes from MAP Paranaque

Hello Rensi,
Thanks for checking my blog.
I had a meeting with Kru Danny last Sunday. He agreed to sponsor the next tournament in November. Hope you will compete.
Unfortunatley, I do not have some spare muay thai shorts as I’ve already sold them. You can check K-1 in Greenhills, they also sell these stuff.

Hello Pierre,
I am an Australia based Muay Thai/MMA coach. I found your blog when I went searching for Pud Pad Noy. I had the honour of training w/ him in the mid 80’s in the USA. This was organised by a French man named Gerard Finot. He had a Kyokushin Karate & MuayThai school in Cleavland,Ohio where he trained full contact fighters.
I guess this dates me as an old man which is true but I still have passion for our arts & train daily w/ my fighters & students.
After training w/ Kru Woorawoot I was so inspired I sold up & travelled to Thailand & ended up at Sityodtong training w/ Kongtoranee Fighting for that camp under the great Yodtong Senanan. w/ his many great fighters of that period. I even got to meet Samart though he was done fighting by then.
I now have my own team of Muay Thai & MMA fighters who compete locally in Melbourne.
I would like to create some open lines of communication between our organisation & yours & maybe we can have some training & competition alliance. I have always viewed our martial arts world as a brotherhood.
I spent some time in Manila in 2004 coaching an Australian team of Karate competitors and loved the martial arts spirit in your country.
Kind regards-yours in martial arts spirit,
Ed

Hello Ed,
Thank you very much for visiting my blog and it is an honor for someone of your martial arts experience and background would take time to read my articles.
I’m sure that that encounter with Ajarn Pudpadnoy is very memorable. He’s a very amiable person and the depth of his knowledge in muay thai is very admirable and he doesn’t hold back in sharing this knowledge. I will definitely tell him about you when he comes back from Thailand next month. One amazing thing about him is that even though he has already met countless people around the globe while promoting/teaching the art, he never forget the names and faces of his students.
MMA and amateur muay thai are very active here in the Philippines and I’m very sure we can work on projects, events and tournaments.
Hope you liked Manila and if ever you’ll come back here, please do send me an e-mail and I’ll be more than glad to meet you.
I sent a reply to your e-mail.
Sincerely,
Pierre
